A Perverted Revolution
Fetish club fliers document an underground subversive movement that started at the end of the ’80s and continued into the noughties. The fetish club scene brought together a new generation of young people who wanted to challenge the status quo, to change attitudes to sex & sexuality, to gender and to our relationship with our own bodies. It was a perverted revolution exploring: sex, fetishism, BDSM; cross-dressing, gender bending/transgender notions; lesbian, gay & bi rights; feminism – women no longer in a passive sexual role for male pleasure but enjoying their bodies and sexualities. The fetish scene changed the world! Sexual politics and freedoms, fashion, body art, feminism, sex and sex work – all have been transformed over the last 30 years and for the better!
Given I had quite a stock of old fliers I thought it important to archive them here for posterity. I particularly chose very early fliers, or rarities; truly artistic masterpieces or subversive little gems. Alongside trying to get in at least one flier from every past fetish club of that era so that they are not lost forever.

Wonderful times remember going to some Circus themed Tuppy Owens Sex Maniacs ball party at some Filming Studio in Battersea. Complete in red rubber dog leash with Mistress Caroline and her friend.
Yes I was at that event, I only remembered when you mentioned it 🙂 Tuppy Ownes did some amazing work to promote the scene and help the disabled and vulnerable to be able to attend erotic events – she needs recognition and our gratitude.
It was at that event I met my regular Mistress, from East London, Mistress Victoria, (Jackie) whom I dearly missed since she moved I believe to Spain, thou think she did move back but is no longer involved in the scene. Think from memory that was called Mr Zoggs Studio ?
I remember Mistress Victoria and Patricia… and the Godmother herself Claire!

That’s incredible Mistress Sidonia we must have been ships just passing in the night not to get Introduced. The last time I had Jackie and partner, and Patricia and her partner was at a formal black tie garden party I’d held just Very happy, sadly missed kink , memories of this 57 yr old unowned West Country sub.
